Lisa Holton is a corporate writer, editor, researcher and an author/collaborator on 15 commercially published business and consumer finance books. She is a former Business Editor and Pulitzer-nominated reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times.

I’ve built a career in business storytelling. Working for news organizations and corporate communications departments, I understand how deadlines, approvals and performance measurement work in a variety of settings. As a newsroom leader and as an outside consultant, I’ve worked with top executives, subject matter experts and creative teams to create a wide range of projects.

My specialty is serial content – thought leadership blogs, op-eds, social media and digital publications. I’ve also worked as a planning producer and screenwriter on commercial and nonprofit video projects and I'm a registered freelance researcher on business topics at the Chicago History Museum, the Library of Congress and other specialized research sites around the country.
